This year VicHealth again played a lead role in the promotion of public health, and supported and funded a diverse range of organisations to bring about better health for all Victorians. VicHealth's 2004 Annual Report was tabled in the Victorian Parliament in November 2004. The report reviews the progress made by the Foundation in the promotion of health for all Victorians. During the year, VicHealth funded 1300 projects, and these are listed in the report. It also includes our health promotion action in the areas of reducing smoking, increasing physical activity, supporting research, promotiong mental health and wellbeing and addressing health inequalities.

VicHealth's 2003 Annual Report was tabled in the Victorian Parliament in November 2003. It was the final report for Chair Professor John Funder. The report includes the 1228 funded projects as well as information about the foundation's work in the areas of social connection, participation, diversity, healthy environments and health inequalities.

The report highlights the work done in the areas of mental health promotion, population health improvements, tobacco control, working with those most in need, sharing responsibility for health and finding new ways to achieve results. Also included are funded projects, which demonstrate the range of investments designed to promote health.
