VicHealth adds strength to other organisations working in health promotion through the provision of funding and other resources.
Every year, we fund hundreds of projects, with funds going to a range of organisations, both large and small.
We distribute more than $23 million annually, mostly through funding schemes and research. We also invest in developmental (seeding) work and commissioned programs.
When do funding rounds become active?

How are applications reviewed?
Applications for funding are reviewed through an advisory panel. VicHealth's advisory panel system enables the Board to receive quality advice on health promotion strategy and funding decisions. Panels provide a 'peer review' function and facilitate broader consultation.
