Professional arts ensembles, organisations and venues which can present arts programs in the areas targeted by the scheme.

Promoting Diversity through the Arts is a new scheme that is part of VicHealth’s Program to Promote Cultural Diversity and Prevent Ethnic and Race-based Discrimination.
The scheme comprises three inter-related components:
- Grants to support three-year community arts projects;
- Grants to support arts organisations and venues to present arts programs that support the aims of the scheme; and
- Communications activities to support the program’s messages.
VicHealth is now seeking applications for the first two components of the scheme. These guidelines refer to the Arts Organisations and Venues Grants. Guidelines are also available for the Community Arts Grants at: www.vichealth.vic.gov.au/fundingopen
How much funding is available?
Grants of up to $50,000 per year for three years (a total of $150,000) are available to arts organisations and venues to support the development and presentation of professional arts programs with the potential to promote cultural diversity and reduce ethnic and race-based discrimination in Victoria. It is anticipated that up to 6 organisations will be funded.
