Preventing Violence Against Women: Local Government Networking and Capacity Building Project

Who can apply?
Local governments that can demonstrate experience in undertaking primary prevention projects or programs, or that have active municipal plans that prioritise or seek to promote the primary prevention of violence against women, should particularly apply.

The Victorian Health Promotion Foundation is seeking to invite Victorian local governments to undertake a program of networking activity in the area of preventing violence against women before it occurs. Local governments that can demonstrate experience in undertaking primary prevention projects or programs, or that have active municipal plans that prioritise or seek to promote the primary prevention of violence against women, should particularly apply.
How much funding is available?
A grant of $95,000 is available to the successful applicant for activity to occur over a 12 month period.
