A new survey shows almost one in 20 people in Victoria say they ran out of food in the last 12 months and could not afford to buy anymore. Almost a quarter of those said this happened every month, according to the Victorian Population Health Survey 2005, an annual survey of the health status of adult Victorians conducted by the Department of Human Services.
