Mad Hatters Music Festival

The call is out to all Victorians to get a mad hat on their head and support people with mental illness. Leading entertainers, some with and without mental illness are banding together to put on a music festival at Federation Square Saturday October 3rd.

VicHealth Active Club funding now open

In a bid to get more people active, the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth) has launched its Active Club Grants to assist with the purchase of sports injury prevention equipment, essential sporting equipment, volunteer and club training and portable shade.

The Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth) has awarded funding of close to one million dollars for a new program targeting people who experience barriers to getting involved in community activities.

VicHealth has approved funding of almost $890,000 for much needed innovative community projects across Victoria. Drought and bush fire ravaged areas are being funded along with other projects in Geelong and Melbourne.
