VicHealth has a strengthened focus on ‘knowledge’. We have identified an openness to support a wider range of knowledge-related activities, a wider range of knowledge categories, and a new set of challenges for the organisation to do more than simply fund research. We have opted to organise our knowledge activities through four key elements: knowledge production, synthesis, translation/transfer and evaluation. Knowledge is now central to the identity of VicHealth, at the core of our functions and a driver of values.
