Cancer Council Victoria, in partnership with MensLine Australia, have launched three new prostate telephone support groups for: · Men with advanced cancer · Younger men · Family and carers of men with prostate cancer Funded by the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue: the national depression initiative, this program will provide an opportunity for people to share experiences and coping strategies. People often find it helpful to talk with others who have been through a similar experience. Now you can join a confidential telephone group and talk from the privacy of your own home. Delivered via teleconference, these groups are professionally facilitated and meet weekly for around an hour over a period of six weeks.
