Chief Executive Officer
Jerril Rechter
Jerril Rechter, CEO
Jerril has extensive experience in leadership across the areas of arts, community and not-for-profit sectors. She comes to VicHealth from Leadership Victoria where she held the position of Executive Director since 2009. Before this, she was CEO of Footscray Community Arts Centre, CEO/Founder of Stompin Youth Dance Company, and Artistic Associate at the Melbourne International Festival of the Arts.
She has served on various state and national boards and committees, including VicHealth's as Board Member from 2004 to 2010. Her ministerial appointments include her membership in the Australia Day Committee in Victoria.
Jerril is a recipient of a Centenary Medal, Tasmania Day Award, and Fellowships from the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, Australia Council, Harvard Club of Australia, the Australian Davos Forum-Future Summit, and Williamson Community Leadership Program (Leadership Victoria).
Jerril holds a Master of Business Leadership from RMIT University.

Executive Manager, Knowledge and Environments for Health
Bruce has extensive experience in health promotion policy and programs having led initiatives in Australia, including the development of tobacco control strategies for the Victorian Government. He is currently the President of the Victorian Branch of the Public Health Association of Australia.
He joins VicHealth from the National Stroke Foundation where he was Divisional Director of Prevention Awareness in charge of national policy and programs. Bruce holds a PhD in addition to master degrees in Public Health and Science. He is an Honorary Senior Fellow in the School of Population Health at the University of Melbourne, and a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health of the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom.

Executive Manager, Participation and Equity for Health
Lyn has a background in human service management and has worked in the public health field for the past 23 years. Lyn's predominant areas of focus have included development of gender-specific services and programs, and advocacy for legislative and policy reform in key areas. Lyn has written and co-edited a range of publications focusing on the social and economic determinants of health, and supported development of the first International monograph on Mental Health Promotion: Concepts, Emerging Evidence and Practice. She is a member of the Adult Multicultural Education Services Board and the Global Consortium for the Promotion of Mental Health, and supports the activity of a range of state committees and working parties.

Kerry has extensive experience in marketing and communications across a diverse range of sectors including government, infrastructure, consultancy, and not-for profits. Areas of focus in her previous communications roles have included childcare policy, women’s health, disability, ageing, community services development, sustainability and water. Kerry’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Communications, Queensland University of Technology, and Bachelor of Arts, Politics and Media, Griffith University.
Dale Mitchell

Dale joined VicHealth in April 2012, coming from the Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust where he was General Manager, Finance and Business Services. During his career of nearly 20 years, Dale has been a Chief Financial Officer and was also responsible for portfolios such as risk management and information technology, which has included a major implementation of key management information and financial systems. He is a Certified Practicing Accountant and has a strong understanding of the Victorian legislative framework. His government experience includes working with the Victorian Auditor-General’s Office.Dale is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and volunteers on the Board of a not-for-profit organisation providing care to severely disabled persons.
