Whilst there has been research undertaken overseas with respect to participation in community sport and physical activity, for children with a disability there is a dearth of research in Victoria. This work will provide valuable advice to the VicHealth-funded organisations who are working in the area of sport and disability as well as provide assistance to the VicHealth established Disability Support Program who provides further support to these organisations.
