Health promotion is a powerful and cost effective way to maintain a healthier community. It enables people to increase control over and improve their health.

Seminars & Events

In this section you'll find upcoming seminars and events conducted by VicHealth and our partners in health promotion, including funded projects.

VicHealth will consider requests from external organisations to promote their seminars and events. The focus of these events must be on promoting good health and preventing ill-health.

For an event to be included it must have relevance to health promotion and disease prevention. Events that focus on early intervention, treatment and rehabilitation will not be considered.

When you add an event, your request will be assessed for relevance before being approved and published. If VicHealth declines to publish your event, you will receive an email advising you of this.

The opinions expressed during these events and made available on the VicHealth website do not necessarily reflect those of VicHealth.
