Board Committees

As part of its Governance structure, VicHealth has established committees to assist the Board in discharging its governance duties.

In particular, VicHealth has established an Finance, Audit and Risk Committee and Workforce and Remuneration Committee.

 

Finance, Audit and Risk Committee

The Finance Audit & Risk Committee provides oversight and monitoring of finance, audit and risk management activities of VicHealth. The committee reports to the Board and meets at least 4 times per annum.

Reconciliation Action Plan Committee

The Reconciliation Action Plan committee ensures VicHealth’s accountability and delivery against the actions within the VicHealth Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan, which has been approved by the Board and Reconciliation Australia. The committee provides strategic advice to the CEO, as well as helping to collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and individuals to help VicHealth deliver this plan. The committee reports to the Board and meets at least 2 times per annum.

Workforce and Remuneration Committee

The Workforce and Remuneration Committee provides workforce strategy and human resources advice to the CEO and reviews the CEO’s performance and remuneration. The committee reports to the Board and meets at least 2 times per annum.
