About sponsorship funding

VicHealth sponsorship funding is available for one-off events such as conferences, award nights and festivals. The application process is competitive and not all requests can be met.  

Sponsorship funding is provided in exchange for a ‘sponsorship benefit’ for VicHealth - this might include naming rights or branding opportunities for your event.

Sponsorship guidelines

• Sponsorship funding is limited to a maximum of $10,000 per event.  
• Sponsorship funding is available for one-off events like conferences, award nights, open days and festivals.
• Requests should align with the VicHealth Strategy 2023-2033.
• Successful applicants will be required to comply with VicHealth branding guidelines.
• All applicants are required to declare harmful industry relationships.
• Programs, projects, individuals or sports teams are not eligible to apply for VicHealth sponsorship funding.  

How to apply

• Login (or create an account) in the Stakeholder Portal 
• Under "Current Opportunities" select "Sponsorship Web Form" by using the arrow on the right hand side
• Complete the web form and submit your application

Closing dates and assessment times

Sponsorship applications are open all year, with applications assessed at the end of each month (except December - these applications are assessed at the end of January).

We'll let you know the outcome of your application approximately one month after each closing date (the last day of each month). 

For example the closing date for a sponsorship submitted on the 3rd of May will be the 31st of May. In this instance you'd know the outcome of the application by the 30th of June.
