The Alcohol’s burden of disease in Australia report provides the most recent estimates of alcohol attributable burden of disease in Australia, including alcohol consumption, death and hospitalisation data.
The report provides state and territory estimates in Australia and includes alcohol-related deaths and hospitalisation estimates for a number of different disease types and injuries.
This research was conducted by the Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre and funded by the Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education (FARE) and VicHealth.
