Access to sport participation should be open to all Australians; however experiences of gender and sexuality discrimination has shown to be a barrier to full participation by some people.

This is the first comprehensive survey of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender sport experiences in Australia. The report makes a number of recommendations to improve these groups' access to participation, particularly creating inclusive and welcoming environments. This report was funded by Victoria University, VicHealth and the Asia Pacific Outgames Legacy Fund.
