The Young adults and alcohol report drew upon the Victorian Youth Alcohol and Drug Survey (VYADS), 60 interviews and data from the Victoria Police and Ambulances Services to examine behavioural and social patterns in young adults, including drinking and going out in different urban settings, and related local government policy responses.

Research was conducted and funded by the University of Melbourne, Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre, Curtin University, Department of Health and VicHealth, with in-kind contributions from Municipal Association of Victoria, Yarra City Council and Hume City Council.
