Working towards a healthier, fairer Victoria. From research and policy to health promotion partnerships, programs and social marketing campaigns, we aim to create a Victoria where everyone can enjoy better health and wellbeing. 

We know that our postcode is one of the strongest predictors of our life expectancy. This is because the built environment shapes our health in many ways. Access to parks and open spaces, healthy and affordable food, sports and recreation opportunities, healthcare services, public transport, education, and employment, all affect our ability to access and achieve good health. That’s why our 10-year strategy focuses on better planning and how we design for safer, fairer, healthier, and more connected neighbourhoods.
